Rates for Assessment

Rates for assessment services will vary depending on your individual needs and circumstances. A typical comprehensive evaluation and assessment includes up to three 50-minute sessions for an initial clinical evaluation, multiple testing sessions (e.g., cognitive, achievement, social-emotional, attention, memory and executive functioning), a feedback session to review testing results and offer recommendations, and a comprehensive written report. Assessment sessions vary in length, from 1-hour to 6-hours (with periodic breaks in between tests) and may be scheduled over the course of several days, as determined by the client and myself.

Please call for more detailed information about the cost of assessment services.

Insurance

I am considered an out-of-network provider for most insurance plans. While I do not work directly with insurance or other third party payers, I am able to provide a receipt of services (super bill) at the conclusion of our work together that you may submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement. Whether your insurance provider will cover the costs for assessment services by out-of-network provider depends on your insurance plan.

Good Faith Estimate Notice

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost within one calendar year. Under the law, health care providers are required to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychological and/or psycho-educational assessment services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychological and/or psycho-educational assessment . You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or photo of your Good Faith Estimate.
